LOWRY SPEAKER SERIES – February 11, 2014
Save the date! The Lowry Speaker Series will present Dusty Saunders, Denver’s veteran award-winning journalist and author, on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 7pm-8:30pm at the Eisenhower Chapel, 293 Roslyn Street in Lowry. Dusty will talk about his life in the media covering local and national television, and share stories about his prolific career at the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post. He will discuss media issues with the audience, and his autobiography, “Heeere's Dusty: Life in the TV and Newspaper Worldâ€, will be available for purchase ($18.00) and signing at the event (cash or check). Lowry’s neighborhood Middle School: Hill Academy of Arts
Several Lowry families with children attending Hill Academy of Arts & Sciences, are hosting informational events in their homes during the month of January. These events are open to current and prospective Hill parents. We would like to especially reach out to Lowry 4th and 5th grade parents to join us to learn more about the evolving programming and connect with other families who’ve had firsthand experience.
